First Tomato Casualty: San Marzano & BER (Blossom End Rot)

Well, I had my first tomato casualty today. I was sort of expecting it as things have been going TOO smoothly in my garden. My beginner’s luck could only hold out for so long, right?

I found one of my san marzano has BER (blossom end rot). I heard it is pretty common with paste/plum type of tomatoes. Supposedly it happens to the first bunch of tomatoes but the plants corrects itself as the season progresses…i hope so.
